Quilt
Styles
|
I
have three distinct styles of quilt making:
Geometric art quilts
Innovative Pictorial quilts mainly using birds or animals
as a focal point
Traditional quilts enhanced with machine quilting |

|
|

Artist
Statement
|
My
aim is to create innovative quilts of technical excellence using
the quilting pattern as an integral part of the design. To use
patterns drawn from my heritage of Maori art without
infringement of cultural issues. To promote the growth of quilt
making by providing my experience, especially in machine work to
assist all quilters and focus on teaching intermediate and
advanced techniques |
